Surface replacement - update/ other works

SURFACE REPLACEMENT

1. Please be informed that due to surface replacement on the expressway S1 at the Brzeczkowice junction in Myslowice there are two narrowed lanes in each direction with a speed limit to 60 km/h.

Please be also informed that on the road S1 at Brzeczkowice junction the carriageway in Cieszyn/ Bielsko-Biala direction is divided into two lanes. It is possible to enter the A4 motorway in Krakow and Katowice direction only from the right lane.

Surface replacement on S1 at the Brzeczkowice junction is planned to be completed by 25 August 2017.

2. Due to surface replacement which is carried out on the carriageway to Katowice near Runo junction on the section of 6 km (km 380 - 386)

• on 27 July in the midday hours for about 3 hours there will be ony one lane in Katowice direction
• from 28 July to 31 July at night hours on the carriageway to Krakow there will be local narrowings to one lane at sections of 500 meters with a speed limit to 80 km/h.

3. From 28 July to 26 August 2017 there will be changes in traffic organisation on both cariageways between Rudno junction and the toll plaza in Balice at the section of 4.6 km  (km 392 to 396.6)

• on 28 July during the day on the carriageway to Katowice there will be local narrowings to one lane at the section of 500 meters with a speed limit to 80km/h
  
• from 28 July to 30 July at night hours on the carriageway to Katowice there will be local narrowings to one lane at the section of 500 meters with a speed limit to 80km/h

OTHER WORKS

• on 27 July at 8 PM due to marking works the A4Go lane in Katowice direction will be closed (lane no. 9) and then A4Go lane in Krakow direction (lane no. 10)
• on 31 July works connected with redevelopment of rest areas will start: in Kepnica (about 12 kilometers after the toll plaza in Myslowce, Krakow direction) and Zastawie (about 9 kilometers after Chrzanow junction). Fuels will be still on sale, but gastronomic services and other sales will be limited, except for hotel services. On behalf of PKN Orlen - the operartor of rest areas we apologise for inconveniences.
