* The above mentioned tolls are collected at each Toll Plaza, i.e. in Mysłowice and Balice and comprise of half of the toll for travel on the whole section of the A4 Katowice-Kraków.
The A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway is not and will not be covered by the new Electronic Toll Collection System e-Toll and e-Toll on-board devices or the e-Toll mobile application cannot be used on this motorway section.

Payment methods at toll plazas in Myslowice and Balice:

- cash: PLN, EURO, USD (for EURO and USD only notes are accepted. Change is given in PLN).
*please check with Telepass if your OBU can be used on the A4 Katowice-Krakow motorway.
The Regulation of the Minister of Finance of 29 October 2021 (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1979, as amended) on issuing invoices, in paragraph 3(4), states that a single-use ticket issued by a collector at a toll plaza is an invoice documenting travel on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway. In view of the above, issuing additional invoices for such single-use tickets is unjustified.
In turn, pursuant to paragraph 2(1) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance and Economy of 7 December 2025 (Journal of Laws of 2025, item 1740) on cases in which there is no obligation to issue structured invoices, the provision of toll motorway travel services documented by the above-mentioned single-use tickets is exempt from the obligation to issue structured invoices (i.e. invoices issued using the National e-Invoice System).
