Surface replacement - update/ other works
SURFACE REPLACEMENT
1. Please be informed that due to surface replacement on the expressway S1 at Brzeczkowice junction in Myslowice
- at night 31 July / 1 August there will be only one lane in Czestochowa direction with a speed limit to 60 km/h.
- starting from 1 August there will not be any narrowings on the S1 in Czestochowa direction at Brzeczkowice junction.
Please be also informed that on the road S1 at Brzeczkowice junction the carriageway in Cieszyn/ Bielsko-Biala direction is divided into two lanes. It is possible to enter the A4 motorway in Krakow and Katowice direction only from the right lane.
Surface replacement on S1 at the Brzeczkowice junction is planned to be completed by 25 August 2017.
2. Due to final works connected with surface replacement on the carriageway to Katowice near Runo junction on the section of 6 km (km 380 - 386) on the carriageway to Krakow
- from 8 PM 31 July to 7 AM 1 August there will be local narrowings to one lane at the section of 500 meters
- from 8 PM 1 August to 7 AM 2 August there will be local narrowings to one lane at the section of 500 meters.
3. Due to surface replacement between Rudno junction and the toll plaza in Balice at the section of 4.6 km (km 392 to 396.6) there are two narrrowed lanes on both carriageways.

OTHER WORKS
- on 31 July works connected with redevelopment of rest areas will start: in Kepnica (about 12 kilometers after the toll plaza in Myslowce, Krakow direction) and Zastawie (about 9 kilometers after Chrzanow junction). Fuels will be still on sale, but gastronomic services and other sales will be limited, except for hotel services. On behalf of PKN Orlen - the operartor of rest areas we apologise for inconveniences.
- on 2 August from 7 AM to 12 AM one lane in Krakow direction between Chrzanow and Rudno junctions at the section of 800 meters (km 373 - 374)
