The safety infrastructure on the motorway A4 katowice-Krakow includes:

• 2 centers
• Motorway Management Division in Myslowice
• Motorway connection network
• SOS columns located every two kilometres, on both sides of the motorway
• 5 meteo stations
• 6 electronic displays
• 15 emergency passages
• police station located in Balice, behind Toll Plaza, direction Katowice.
