Traffic disruptions

We kindly inform that due to the renovation works on bridges, which are in progress at the moment, there are traffic disruptions on the A4 Katowice-Kraków.

The above mentioned disruptions are found at the following locations:

- narrowed left lanes in both directions at short sections with speed limit to 70 km/h:

between Toll Plaza in Myslowice and Jelen Junction
in Chrzanow area
between Chrzanow Junction and Rudno Junction
between Rudno Junction and Rest Area Morawica/ Aleksandrowice

Near Jelen Junction there is only one lane in both directions with speed limit to 60 km/h.

Please be also informed that the following bridges above the motorway are closed:

- on the road Chrzanow - Balin (Balinska Street in Chrzanow)

- on the road K2121 in Balice

- on the road in Brzoskwina

Please drive carefully wherever traffic disruption occurs and pay special attention to road signs.

Vehicles with charge cards

The A4 motorway Concessionaire hereby informs that the motorway toll for vehicles covered by the charge cards (i.e. vehicles with permissible total weight exceeding 12 tonnes, classified into toll class 4 is abolished.

The first toll motorway in Poland.
The most comfortable road connection between Katowice and Kraków.
The concession section length is 61 km.
4 Rest Areas: Kępnica, Morawica, Aleksandrowice, Zastawie.
SOS columns every 2 km.
2 Toll Plazas: at Mysłowice-Brzęczkowice and Balice.
